On 06th January the Epiphany is celebrated in Florence by the traditional Cavalcade of the Kings Magi, an historical procession inspired to the fresco of Benozzo Gozzoli in the Magi Chapel in Palazzo Medici Riccardi. From 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm it will run through the historical centre from Palazzo Pitti to the Dom square, remembering the visit of the three Kings Magi to Jesus the Child. The characters of this wonderful procession, dressed in rinascimental clothings, will arrive by horse to the Cathedral and there they will offer gifts to the image of Jesus the Child, while many little gifts will be offered to all kids. In this occasion extraordinary openings and guided tours will be organized by Palazzo Medici Riccadi of the Chapel of the Kings Magi in particular.
At the Museum of the Natural History from 11:00 am to 01:00 pm, the "Befana" will come back with plays and gifts for all the kids in the "Museum of the Befana".
